Medical detox facility

Medical Detox

Our medical detoxification program provides a safe, comfortable environment for the critical first stage of recovery. Under the supervision of board-certified physicians and experienced nursing staff available around the clock, clients undergo medically managed withdrawal with individualized protocols.

We utilize medication-assisted treatment (MAT) including Suboxone, naltrexone, and other FDA-approved medications to minimize discomfort and reduce cravings. Detox at NLF Rehab typically lasts 3 to 7 days, depending on the substance and severity of dependence. Continuous vital sign monitoring, nutritional support, and compassionate care ensure clients are stabilized and prepared for the next phase of treatment.

Residential treatment

Residential Treatment

Our residential treatment program offers an immersive 30-to-90-day experience on our 72-bed campus in Santa Rosa. Clients live on-site and participate in a structured daily schedule that includes individual therapy, group counseling, psychoeducational workshops, and recreational activities.

Each client receives a personalized treatment plan developed by our multidisciplinary team. Therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and family therapy. Our beautiful Sonoma County setting provides a serene backdrop for reflection, growth, and lasting transformation.

Outpatient session

Outpatient Program

Our outpatient programs provide flexible, structured treatment for clients who need to maintain work, school, or family responsibilities while receiving care. We offer both Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) and standard outpatient services.

IOP clients attend sessions three to five days per week for three to four hours per session, participating in group therapy, individual counseling, relapse prevention planning, and skills-building workshops. Standard outpatient clients meet one to three times per week as they transition toward independent recovery. All outpatient services are held at our facility on D Street in Santa Rosa.

Dual diagnosis

Dual Diagnosis

Our dual diagnosis program is designed for individuals living with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Research shows that treating both conditions simultaneously leads to significantly better outcomes than addressing them separately.

Our team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and licensed therapists provides integrated care for conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related disorders alongside addiction. Treatment includes psychiatric evaluation, medication management, EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, and specialized group therapy. This comprehensive approach helps clients understand the connection between their mental health and substance use, building a foundation for sustainable recovery.
